How I supported Yira from Colombia in finalizing her award-winning PhD thesis
Yira had an outstanding topic and research material for her thesis, but her English writing needed some substantive editing to accurately and convincingly communicate her ideas.
I carefully reviewed her complete thesis draft of 400+ pages, making structural and stylistic edits, and flagging phrases that needed further clarification.
My background in her subject area also allowed me to provide feedback on the substance of certain aspects.
Yira received the 2021 Swiss Network for International Studies award for the best PhD thesis at a Swiss university.

Morgan James, NY
Transforming a standard project report into a flagship bilingual UNESCO publication
The Latin America and Caribbean team at UNESCO wanted to highlight the completion of a major project for the Qhapaq Ñan, Andean Road System World Heritage site with a publication.
I led the coordination and copy-editing of the entire publication project (English & Spanish versions, 200+ pages).
Involved close coordination with six South American countries, regional experts, government officials, photographers, and graphic design team.
Required a meticulous eye for detail, in two languages, and adherence to in-house editing and publication guidelines.
